Women are like teabags. We don’t know our true strength until we are in hot water – Eleanor Roosevelt

Whatever mood you find yourself in. We have you covered

Presto

Your top priority is to find that amazing spot for a good coffee or a mountain restaurant with an open fireplace, and you need a ski you can trust to get you there with the least amount of drama, no matter the conditions or piste gradient. Happiness is feeling good and confident …

Magno

Your heart has a sprinkle of adventure and once in a while you fancy knee deep soft snow. Speed is a friend you are happy to hang out with ….

Alto

You don’t want to worry about your equipment getting in the way of your ambitions. You want the only obstacle in achieving them to be your own ability …..

Apart from the length, all 3 models share the same design features. 150-120-150. On all 3, on piste, it is only the centre 1 metre section that is in contact with the snow. The longer length becomes effective in deeper and softer snow.

The shape is inspired by the +Ulfberht+ sword. We use the triangular nature on either side of the groove running down the centre, to control how the skiboard behaves. A conventional ski is by nature a 2D design with a thickness that does not do much. The inspiration taken from the sword, gives it a 3D design.

The wider design make cruising on soft snow a dream. A shorter ski makes for super easy turns no matter which slope you find yourself on. Being intimidated by the slope is a thing of the past.

The shorter side-cut of only 1 metre and a radius of 16 metres will make carving possible at slower speeds.

Born from Gerardo’s passion

Nothing easy is worth doing and the consumption of a good drink in good company can never be under-estimated. It was during one such occasion that a lady friend told me ‘the achievement of perfection IS possible, the impossible however, takes a little longer’. Not sure how the occasion facilitated the passage of those words in that particular order into my sub conscious, but that is where they landed. As a young man learning to ski in Portillo, I always looked with fascination at how skis have evolved from wooden planks with steel edges screwed onto the bases, leather boots and bindings that could virtually guarantee a leg in plaster. In those days it was almost a rite of passage!! …. to the highly technical, surgically precise instruments we use today. Little did I know the journey would take me through learning Computer Aided Design, Computer Aided Manufacturing, Computerized Numeric Control, figuring out what Young’s Modulus and Flexural Modulus are, composite materials, vacuum infusion, web design, creative design, photography, convert what’s in my head into something tangible ….. Women have shaped my life. So I figure I would return the compliment. So here it is to you. My unsung heroines. Enjoy.
